Our Work

    community service/outreach

"And do not forget to do good to one another." (Quran 2:238)

As Muslims, acts of charity are a duty; whether it's donating our possessions, money, time or even a smile. We not only see community service as a means to give back to others but to also show that young Muslim adults are genuinely invested in the plight of others.

    interfaith connections

“O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of GOD is the one who is most deeply conscious of Him. Behold, GOD has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).”

It is our goal to reach and connect with people of various faiths as the Quran (our Holy Book) instructs us to do. We seek to become acquainted, while also gaining more knowledge, tolerance, and understanding of one another. It is what makes our communities truly thrive and progress. And it’s a beautiful sight to see. We accomplish this through our Interfaith programs that create a space for dialogue, relationship building activities, group projects and community collaboration.

    LEGACY CONNECT

"O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single soul, created, of like nature, the mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you." (Quran 4:1)

The Muslim Mix stands on the Quranic principle of “reverencing the womb that bore us.”  Legacy Connect® is a service program designed to create opportunities for young Muslim adults and Muslim elders to connect and build meaningful friendships.
