Teens in the Deen - Books for Africa
This is our teen community service project. Come out and do good work! We will sort, organize and pack books that will be sent to children in Africa.
Real Talk Taleem: "Mask on/Mask Off"
As American Muslims, we often find ourselves in environments where we are in the minority. In these spaces, some of us may adopt other "faces" to cope with being the one that stands out and considered different. This session will expose truths behind the mask.
Atlanta Interfaith Iftar
This Ramadan join The Muslim Mix and the Atlanta Muslim community for an evening of rich conversation, fellowship and understanding as we partake in a delicious fast-breaking dinner (iftar). We are inviting all faith groups to come out and learn more about Islam and our holy month. We look forward to seeing you there!
Real Talk Taleem - "The Trap House"
This session will identify negative energies meant to get us caught up in the sticky traps of life and practical ways of avoiding and overcoming these tricks.
Teens in the Deen - Vision Board Party Iftar
Teens in the Deen invites all Muslim Teens, ages 13-17, out to celebrate Ramadan. Teens will be able to create a vision board for the Ramadan they dream of.
- Iftar meal will be provided
- Bring your own supplies
Adopt A Pioneer Orientation
Ramadan is a wonderful time of year to be of service to others. Sign up as a volunteer or pioneer for the Adopt-A-Pioneer program.Volunteers will be matched with compatible pioneers to provide a variety of services during the month of Ramadan.
